MAGALIES, PROUD DRINKS SPONSOR AT THE 2019 OMDIEDAM MARATHON!

For the second consecutive year Magalies have been the proud drinks sponsor at the prestigious 2019 Omdiedam Ultra Marathon (underlined part must be a link to: http://omdiedamultra.co.za/ ) , which was hosted at the Hartbeespoort Holiday Resort, on Saturday the 16th of March! The thirst of all 6000 brave runners were properly quenched at the finish line with our ice cold Magalies L’monfizz!
The spectacular event, which is a qualifying race for the well-known Comrades Marathon (underlined part must link to: http://www.comrades.com/ ) was blessed with beautiful, sunny weather this year, and runners of both the 21km and the 50km categories achieved lightning results! The 50km for men were dominated by the Green Dream Team from Nedbank Running Club, and the ladies 50km were dominated by the ferocious Murray & Roberts team! Congratulations to all the winners of the various age, gender and distance categories!
50km Men:
1st place – Joseph Manyedi, Nedbank (2:55:37)
2nd place – Obed Kopong, Nedbank (2:56:09)
3rd place – Peter Muthubi, Nedbank (2:56:42)
50km Ladies:
1st place – Charne Bosman, Murray & Roberts (3:30:14)
2nd place – Yolande Maclean, Murray & Roberts (3:34:36)
3rd place – Salome Cooper, Murray & Roberts (3:36:09)
21km Men:
1st place – David Manja, Nedbank (1:05:30)
2nd place – Phillimon Tebogo Mathiba, Nedbank (1:05:58)
3rd place – Shadrack Hoff, Maxed Elite (1:13:32)
21km Ladies:
1st place – Roné Reynecke, Run Walk for Life (1:22:05)
2nd place – Elizabeth Dlhiwayo, Run Walk for Life (1:32:46)
3rd place – Maria Vilakazi, Fitness from Africa (1:33:48)
