Juice Summit and Sial Paris 2016
Magalies attended the annual Juice Summit hosted in Antwerp, Belgium as well as the international trade show Sial in Paris between 11 and 20 October 2016. From both a trading and a procurement perspective, these two events rate amongst the highest in the world with tremendous networking opportunities for any company involved in the food industry.
Keeping abreast of the international juice trade is imperative to the growth, success and sustainable progress of our industry. CEO, Mr Hans Du Preez and GM Marketing Mrs Ansja Strydom attended the two events to gain valuable insights. Sial Paris comprised of 7000 exhibitors from across the globe with an estimated 155 000 visitors attending every other year.
The Juice Summit is an event targeted specifically at the fruit juice market and is organised by AIJN, SGF and IFU. These three organisations are at the heart of fair trade in the juice world providing much needed voluntary control to international product standards. The next Juice Summit is to be held on 4 and 5 October 2017. Make sure to put this event on your calendar for next year.
