Say hello to Lemon essential oil, your new zest friend! From brightened beverages to sparkling skin, those little drops of liquid sunshine.  Due to its yellow colour and the burst of energy that it provides, Lemon Essential Oil has earned the nickname, liquid sunshine!

Here are 4 effective ways to use Liquid sunshine:

  1. Discover your resident artist has left crayon drawings all over the bedroom wall? A little lemon oil goes a long way in creating a clean slate!
  2. Infuse your laundry with the citrusy freshness of a lemon grove by adding 5-8 drops to the rinse cycle when washing clothes and towels.
  3. Bugs are not in favour of lemon oil. Combine lemon with peppermint and eucalyptus essential oil along with coconut oil for an effective repellent
  4. Add a drop of lemon oil to your toothbrush about once a week – and rinse with hot water – it will help sanitize and deodorize your toothbrush.

It is important to mention that no food is meant to be a cure-all for any condition, though there are certainly health and skin benefits contained within them. The one thing you should always do before using a new skin care product is to do a patch test to look for allergies and sensitivities.
