The FNB Wines2Whales is arguably one of South Africa’s most beautiful and most popular three day mountain bike stage races. Riders need to cover a scenic, but tough, 220km over these three days from Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset-West, Western Cape, to Hermanus on the coast.


Magalies CEO Hans du Preez and GM Marketing, Ansja Strydom, attended the Juice Summit 2015 held in Antwerp, Belgium on 7 & 8 October, as well as the Anuga Food Show from 10 to 14 October, held in Cologne, Germany. Magalies product developers, Elmien Lerm and Dr Marli Botha joined them at the Anuga show, and also paid a visit to Silesia, a world-class flavour manufacturer and supplier to Magalies.


Magalies recently hosted the Super 6 Cricket tournament for primary schools in Bloemfontein, for the 5th consecutive year, and in Brits for the first time this year, for boys u/13 teams.


On Saturday 3 October, several Magalies personnel participated in the Kromberg & Schubert road running event, which was held in Brits


Magalies hosted its annual Charity Golfday this year on 17 September at the reputable Copperleaf Golf Estate, an Ernie Els signature golf course, which is located close to Centurion. The main purpose of this event is to raise funds to support local schools and old age homes in various ways.


Innie Berg Festival is an arts, music and food festival hosted annually in Louis Trichardt by the CVO school Zoutpansberg, where the people of Limpopo province are entertained by several South African artists. This event took place on the 31st of July and 1st of August this year. Magalies participatd as a sponsor for the 2nd consecutive year.
